BIG
THANKS
To those who braved the weather on our Labour
Day Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings in Hawthorn. Despite the
weather we had a great turn out of new volunteers and also of
sausage lovers to Bunnings. Because of the great efforts on
the day we raised a little over $700 to go towards this years
Hamper Fund. A special big Thanks to Jacqui and those who
braved the afternoon, with the hail sized golf balls raining down
from the sky. As I have always said Basket Brigade events are
always eventful.
NEXT COMMITTEE
MEETING
The details for our next committee meeting
are outlined below - we would love to have any new volunteers
interested in becoming a part of the committee or our fundraising
efforts to come along and listen, contribute your thoughts and get
involved.
Date: Saturday 2nd
October
Time: 3.30pm (meetings usually go for
an hour)
Where: Shango Cafe, 49 Waverley Rd
Malvern East (near Dandenong Rd)
Cost: Just some of your time and
attendion - Dom makes a mean latte and a great salad or cheesecake
(for those who have a sweet tooth)
